Georgina Rubio is originally from Mexico City and has been a music professional for 25 years. She studied singing at the Berkeley School of Music in Boston with Mili Bermejo and with various other teachers such as Patricia Caicedo.

She has shared the stage with great Mexican musicians like Armando Manzanero, who have helped her to develop her unique style. For 17 years, Georgina Rubio has resided in Barcelona, ​​where she has been a vocalist for Mariachi Mestizo and currently, Mariachi Semblanza.

After dedicating more than a decade to Mariachi music, she decided to fulfil her dream of producing an album fusing mariachi and flamenco music.

In this álbum LA BIEN PAGA  she has taken some very traditional mexican songs and recreated them with the intense Flamenco passion as well as taking some of the treasures of Spanish popular music and transforming them with the Mariachi soul.
